How is Metrc used?

Data Entry

Metrc requires extensive manual data entry in order to stay compliant. However, FloEnvy provides Metrc integration and automates the process. Be aware that not all 3rd party solutions are available in Metrc-states, unlike FloEnvy who is approved in all 15 states.

Tracking

Metrc makes use of RFID tags that are attached to plants and products in an effort to enable regulators to trace the lifecycle of each item. Since FloEnvy is a Metrc approved cannabis software solution, tracking is a breeze with our mobile app.

API

Application Programming Interfaces - or APIs - are used to connect separate software solutions, enabling them to communicate. Metrc's API grants cannabis business solutions the ability to send data to Metrc directly.
